Mr. Phillip Edward Pinyatello age 83 of Wallace died Monday morning, April 28, 2008, at Pender Memorial Hospital in Burgaw.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 1, at 2:00 p.m. at Padgett Funeral Chapel in Wallace conducted by the Rev. Jerry Atkinson. Burial will follow in Rockfish Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by three daughters, Hilda P. Cox and George and Phyllis Pinyatello all of Carolina Beach, and Sheila Wells and husband Jack of Teachey, two sons, Thomas Edward Pinyatello and Ellen of Hampstead and Philip Manuel Pinyatello of Wilmington and Dickie Grady and wife Joan of Goldsboro, one sister, Angeline Dixon of Rose Hill, Eight Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Born in Duplin County, Mr. Pinyatello was the son of the late Joseph Pinyatello and Mary Sutton Pinyatello and was the widower of Louise Rich. He was a retired truck driver and attended Peniel P. F. W. B. Church.
Casketbearers will be James Earl Rich, Paul Wells, Jack Wells, Kevin Wells, Duane Blanton and Ronnie Rich.
The family will receive at the funeral home from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and at his residence, 113 West Murray Street, Apartment 403, in Wallace other times.
