Obituary in the Fentress Leader-Times 17 Jun 1971 page 7 -- MR. JESSIE WOODSON DELK, age 87 died Wednesday June 9 at the Fentress County General Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Alice Delk; three sons, Clyde and Noble both of Jamestown, Orien of Lorain, Ohio, five daughters, Lucy Gunter of Evansville, TN, Reba Cooper and Ruth Stinson of Elyria, Ohio, Geneva Smith of Jamestown and Wilma Delk of Loraine, Ohio; 59 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday June 11 at 2 pm at the South Main St. Baptist Church with burial in the Franklin Cemetery, Rev. Stanley Cravens officiated with Jamestown Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
