MRS. MINNIE MAY LOWDER
Mrs. Minnie May Lowder, 83, of Elkland, died at 12:05 a.m. yesterday at her home following an illness of eight months. She was a lifelong resident of the Elkland community.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lema Davison, of Alhambra, Calif., Mrs. Laura Beckerdite, of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Lois Dugan, of Elkland; one son, Paul, of Ontario, Canada; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Jackson, of Marshfield, and Mrs. O. H. Peterson, of Hamilton, Mont.; three brothers, F. O. and E. H. Hartley, of Springfield, and C. E. Hartley, of Hamilton, Mont.; and three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Timber Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. M. G. Bristow, and the Rev. Otha Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Barber Edwards of Marshfield.
