Martha A Wilson Palmer was the daughter of Edward Wilson (born in England) and UNKNOWN Mooney (Born in Ireland). Her first husband was Erastus Hench. She and Erastus had four children: Wilson E Hench, Matilda "Tillie" J Hench Merino, William A Hench, and Hattie Hench. Erastus evidently passed away in Iowa and is buried there. They had been on a trip to visit her family in Canada and then came through Iowa to visit his family. He is buried in the same cemetery as his father and other family members. She married William Conklin Palmer on May 24, 1881 in Solano County, California. She was William's 3rd wife. Martha and William had two children: Edward C Palmer and Addie Palmer. William's burial place is unknown at this time however, he did die before Martha as she is listed as a Widow on her death certificate. Her death certificate states that she was cremated. Her family states that her cremated remains were buried here.
