MARSHFIELD - Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah Whittenburg, 74, of Route 2, Niangua, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Barber-Edwards-Arthur Chapel here with the Rev. A.B. Todd officiating. Burial will be in Marshfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Whittenburg died at her home at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday after suffering an apparent heart attack. She was the widow of S. Bland Whittenburg, who died Jan. 15.
Surviving are her son, Jim of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Joan Stewart, Marshfield; two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Brown, Niangua, and Mrs. Mildred McCall, Windsor, Colo.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. (The Leader & Press, Wed., March 15, 1972, p. 55, Col. 6).

Miss Beulah Elmore and Mr. Bland Whittenburg were married at the home of Rev. Joe Day Sunday afternoon, Sept. 23rd, Rev. Day performed the ceremony. They intended to keep it secret but later decided to tell of their marriage.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.V. Elmore of the Osage neighborhood, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T.A. Whittenburg, of the same neighborhood.
They are at home to their friends in the Bollinger residence on West Washington Avenue. (The Marshfield Mail, Marshfield, MO, Thur., Oct. 4, 1917, p. 1, Col. 6).
