Margaret Cull Raybourne, 88, Bardstown Road, Springfield, widow of Jack Raybourne Jr., died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005 at her residence. Born Nov. 20, 1916 in Harrodsburg, she was a daughter of the late Robert L. and Myrtle Watts Cull. She was a graduate of Harrodsburg High School and of Bethel College. She was retired after serving 20 years as an assistant of the Washington County property valuation administrator, she was interested in the operation of the family farm, she was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Springfield Baptist Church where she served as pianist for 55 years.

Survivors include: two sons, Jack W. "Skeet" Raybourne of Mechanicsville, VA and Kenneth A. Raybourne of Nicholasville; one daughter, Sandra (Howard) Carey of Lebanon; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Sara Cull, and four brothers, Horace, Bobby, Brent and Dalton Cull.

The funeral was held Monday, Jan. 31 at the Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. Bland Mason officiating. Interment was on Cemetery Hill in Springfield. Pallbearers were Kelly Raybourne, Kevin Carey, Larry Breunig, Truman Taylor, Mike Myers and Bill Cull. Honorary pallbearers were Jack and Reed Breunig, Parker Raybourne, Kemper Ancarrow, Drew Sutton, Don Bailey, Mitchell Reynolds, Kenneth Davis, Bob Walker and Len Benedict. Arrangements were handled by Carey and Son Funeral Home in Springfield.
