Glenn Engle Schrock, 86, of Salisbury, died Sunday, December 18, 2005, at
Rest Assured Living Center, Meyersdale.
Born July 23, 1919, in Shanksville, he was the son of the late Willard and
Leora (Engle) Schrock.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Barry L. Schrock, July 27, 1999;
two sisters: Erma Berkebile and Peggy Barchey and one brother, William Willard
Schrock.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Walker) Schrock; three sisters: Pauline
May, Berlin; Patricia, married to Ronald Glessner, Delaware; Janet, married to
Glenn Scott, Friedens; a special niece, Cheryl "Doll" Glessner and several
other nieces and nephews.
Mr. Schrock was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. He was a U.S.
Army veteran of WWII and member of Salisbury American Legion. He was a retired
construction carpenter.
Friends were received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Newman
Funeral Homes, P.A., Salisbury, where services were conducted at 2 p.m. on
Wednesday with the Rev. Dr. Philip Sorenson officiating.
Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
