DEVANEY, JR. Walter J. "Bud", age 82, of Franklin, TN passed into the majestic fairways of Heaven May 3, 2013.

He's survived by his wife, Anne P. DeVaney, sons Charles W. (Camille G.) DeVaney and Dwain D. DeVaney, daughter Peggy DeVaney (Curtis L.) Whitmore, along with grandchildren Darbie N. Brown, Austin S. DeVaney & Cathryn Anne Whitmore, and great-grandchildren Jakob, Jack Walter & Joshua Brown.

Born in Augusta, Georgia. Married 59 years and lived in New Orleans, LA, Huntsville, AL and Franklin, TN.

Served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Leyte CV-32 aircraft carrier during the Korean Conflict. Worked with Westinghouse, Boeing, Heil Quaker and Inter-City Products.

He was a loving husband, father, veteran, friend and golfer. Services will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin, TN.
