Jean Blair Peterson, 85, of Montgomery, passed away May 2, 2013. She was born in Sanford, Alabama on October 26, 1927. Jean graduated from Andalusia High School (1945) and the University of Alabama (1949). She married John F. Peterson in 1956. Together they traveled the U.S., while serving in the Air Force, until he retired in 1968. She was predeceased by husband John F. Peterson of San Diego, CA, and parents John Wesley Blair and Agnes Livings Blair of Andalusia, AL, and brother Major Elliot Blair of Killeen, TX. She was survived by daughter, Joanne Peterson, son Bill Peterson, and granddaughter Leigh Ann Peterson. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Montgomery. Visitation will be held at Leak-Memory Chapel, Sunday, May 5th at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow at 3:00 in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Archangel Ancient Tree Archive at www.ancienttreearchive.org.
