Paseka- Edward J. Paseka, 96 of Ellington, widower of Theresa (Roszczewski) Paseka, passed away peacefully Sunday January 20, 2013 in his sleep. He was born May 24, 1916 in Middletown the son of the late John and Mary (Zaklukiewicz) Paseka. Edward was a U S Army veteran of World War II. Edward retired from Hamilton Standard in Windsor Locks where he was employed as a machinist for the majority of his career. Edward was an avid hunter and fisherman, and took great pride in his vegetable garden each summer. He is survived by his children and their spouses Diane and Edward Ducharme of Pawcatuck, CT, Richard and Lynn Paseka; Scott and Robyn Paseka all of Ellington, five grandchildren Yvonne Somerday and her husband Dean of FL, Pamela Paseka and her companion Jackie Bowen of Vernon; Gwendolyn, Gianna and Gillian Paseka of Ellington, longtime companion Carole Kulesa of Enfield, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Charles, Bruno, Stanley, Joseph, Walter, John, and half-brother Frank Petuck; three sisters Catherine Wysocki, Sister Mary Helen Euthalia, and Marion. Funeral service will be held Wednesday 10 AM at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home 76 Prospect St, Rockville. Burial will be private for the family. Relatives and friends may join the family on Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home
