CREED NORMAN
Creed Norman, 71, of Bradenton, died Feb. 13 in HCA/L.W. Blake Hospital.
Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Saturday at Brown and Sons Funeral Home, 5624 26th St. W., Bradenton. Service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Milton Pruitt and Rev. Wes Blevins officiating. Burial will be in Manasota Memorial Park, Bradenton.
Born in Duffy, W.Va., Mr. Norman came to Bradenton from Warren, Ohio, in 1988. He was a retired millwright in the steel industry. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was a staff sergeant with the U.S. Army in World War II. He saw action in Anzio, Italy, France and the central European campaign.
He is survived by his wife, Frances; a daughter, Sheila Blevins of Bradenton; and a grandchild.
