S. Gladys Kinzler
NAMPA — Services for S. Gladys Kinzler, 77, of 412 Holly St., Nampa, who died April 7, 1982, in a Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Nampa First Church of the Nazarene by the Revs. Charles E. Higgins and Vernon L. Wilcox. both of Nampa First Church of the Nazarene; George Coulter, general superintendent emeritus of the Church of the Nazarene; and Earl C. Darden of College Church of the Nazarene. Interment will follow in Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa. under the direction of Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
She was born Nov. 2, 1901, in Crossfield, Alberta, Canada, where she was reared and educated. She trained at the Royal Alexandria Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta, and became a registered nurse. She attended Northwest Nazarene College in 1932 and 1933. She married Floyd H.E. Kinzler on Sept. 2, 1933, in Nampa. He died in 1940. She held various positions for more than 20 years at the Samaritan Community Hospital, Nampa, including director of nursing services and hospital administrator. She was a member and board member of Nampa First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include two sons, Clarence J. and Floyd C., both of Nampa, and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
