Gertrude Kauffman was married [1] Yost M. Yoder. They were married by her dad Jonas J. Kauffman. Gertrude and Yost had eight children. Yost died in 1893 and she married [2] Max/Marx Jess on 11/25/1897. They had one child name Levi. Gertrude was born 11/13/1858 in Johnson County, Iowa. She and Yost were married 2/7/1875.
