Willie Belle was born in either Henry or Weakley County, Tn. She was only seven months old when her mother passed away. Her father remarried but divorced, and eventually she came to live in Nashville with her first cousin, Georgia Ann Johnson Boone. In 1910, she appears on the census as adopted by Georgia and her husband, Bedford Forrest Boone. She married Aubrey Wilson Coleman in 1920 and their only child was Aubrey Wilson Coleman Jr.

Funeral services are held today at 1:00 pm at Nave Funeral Home for Mrs. Willie Belle Coleman.
Mrs Coleman, 85, died Saturday, Feb 5, at the Beene Nursing Home in Hartsville following an extended illness. The Reverend James C. Hutchings will officiate the service with burial being in the Dixon Springs Cemetery.
Mrs Coleman, a native of Davidson County, had lived in Lebanon since 1950. She was a charter member of Nashville's Judson Memorial Baptist Church.
She was married to the late Aubrey Wilson Coleman.
Survivors include a son, A.W. Coleman, Jr. of Lebanon and four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Barry Minchey, Hugh Minchey, Carl Minchey, Jackie Preston, Donald Filan and William Denney.
