Daniel Leo Curo born January 15, 1954 entered into rest on February 1, 2011. He enjoyed living on the Barona reservation and spending days with his big family of eight brothers and sisters. He loved being outdoors fishing and hunting in Capitan with his many nephews and nieces. Uncle "Big Dog" loved to golf and always cherished moments with his loving family. "Pops", to grandchildren Garren, Saige and Calista. He is survived by his children Stephanie and Rick Curo, his three grandchildren, his brothers JoJo, Bobby and Bruce, and sisters Linda, Debi, Nita, Penny and Gina. He is preceded in death by his father Joseph "Buddy" Curo and mother Lupe Curo. He will be missed dearly and remembered by all with much love and great memories. Prayer service Tuesday, February 8th, 7:00 p.m. at El Cajon Mortuary, 684 S. Mollison Ave. Funeral services Wednesday, February 9th, at 10:00 a.m. Barona Mission.
