Marie SWAIN married William RHODES. She was a daughter of Nicholas B. SWAIN and Zetta WARNER.

OBITUARY The Idaho Statesman Boise, Wednesday March 5, 1971. Mrs. Marie Rhodes. Services for Mrs. Marie S. Rhodes, 69 of 2108 South Owyhee who was dead Tuesday evening on arrival at a Boise hospital after suffering an apparent sudden heart attack will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Alden-Waggoner Chapel by Elder Cecil Gilmore of the Re-organized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Internment will be at Morris Hill. She was born Feb. 6, 1902 in Arcadia, Ka. She grew up in Kansas and Montana and then came to Idaho in about 1920. She lived near Wilder on a farm for a time then came to Boise. She married William D. Rhodes in Idaho City in 1925. Shortly afterwards she went to Portalnd. In 1960 she moved to Mill Valley, Calif., and then in 1966 returned to Boise. She had worked as a pharmaceutical clerk for many years. Survivors include her husband, William of Boise, two sons, William G. Rhodes of San Francisco, and Donald G. Rhodes, Seattle: three sisters. Mrs. Alba Potts Wishram, Wash., and Mrs. Pearl Hammond and Mrs. Neva Fisher, both of San Francisco; and two grandchildren.
