Guy G Adams, 61, well known local resident passed away at
3 a.m. this morning at his home at 829 Caroline St. Mr Adams had been on a hunting trip to the Adirondack mountains over the week-end and returned home at about 6 p.m. in his usual good health. At about 11 p.m. he became very ill and his physician was called. he died at 3 a.m. Mr. Adams was born in West Bangor, June 16, 1882 the son of Truman and Olive Spencer Adams. He attended schools in that section and conducted a dairy farm for a number of years. He moved to this city in 1915 and entered the employ of the Rutland railroad as a car inspector. He lost a part of his right leg in an accident at Norwood two years ago and was forced to retire. Mr. Adams was married to Miss Myrtle Lauber of Bangor Who survives him. He Was a member of the Ogdensburg lodge of the Knights of Pythias and was a past district deputy of the organization. He was also a member of the Congregational Church of West. Surviving beside his Widow are two children, Curtis Adams of this city and Mrs James Keenan of Port Covington. Funeral services will be held Thursday from his late home at, 829 Caroline St. with burial in West Bangor Cemetery. The Rev. Gerald E. Boyce of this city will officiate.
