Hulda Gilreath, 86, RR 2, died Sunday evening, December 26, at Story City Hospital. Funeral services are Wednesday at 10a.m. from the Adams Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy C. Key officiating. Burial is in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.
Mrs. Gilreath was born December 31, 1889 in Highmore, S. D. to Charles and Mary Sunding. She married W. Bates Gilreath December 20, 1911 in Highmore. He preceded her in death November 7, 1961. She and her husband came to the Ames area in 1924.
She is survived by a son; Bud of RR 2, two daughters; Adeline Ware of Nice, California and Cordelia Peterson of 1128 Carroll Ave; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gilreath was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at the Adams Funeral Home Tuesday after 3 P.M. and Wednesday until time of service.
