Christine "Christy" Staeven, 40, of Pulaski died May 14, 2009 at her home.
She was the daughter of Connie Heling and the late Roger Spindler, born June 18, 1968 in Sheboygan.
On August 14, 1999 she married Randall Staeven in DePere.
Survivors include her husband, Randy; her children, Zachary Boldt, Keisha, Wyatt and Brett Staeven; her mother, Connie Heling, Newton; three sisters, Kay (Mike) Gonnering, WA, Kelly (Jeff) Muehlbauer, Elkhart Lake and Karie (Jeremy) Ladwig, Newton. She is further survived by maternal grandparents, Wallace and Leona Heling, Howards Grove; one stepdaughter, Jessica Staeven, DePere.
She was preceded in death by her father on July 20, 2008 as well as her paternal grandparents, Roland and Alice Spindler.

NOTE: Christy was murdered by her husband and attempted to kill their children by setting their bedrooms on fire. All the children survived and were adopted by various sisters.
Her husband was convicted to murder and in jail for life.
