MRS PAUL J. PAULSEN DIES; RITES SATURDAY AT LUTHERAN CHURCH


Mrs. Paul J. Paulsen, 67, for 56 years a well-known resident of Blair, died in her sleep yesterday morning at the Paulsen home, a mile north of Blair on the Bottom Road.

The body was taken to the Bendorf Funeral Home. It is announced that the funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Lutheran Church. The Rev. H.C. Jorgensen will officiate, and interment will follow in Blair Cemetery.

Helena M. Nelson, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lars P. Nelson, was born at Fremont Aug. 30, 1884. Her father later was a railroad section foreman out of Blair for 30 years. She and Mr. Paulsen were married Febr. 23, 1908.

Surviving Mrs. Paulsen are her husband; one son, Bernard Paulsen of Blair; two daughters, Mrs. Harland Nelson (Myrtle) and Mrs. Richard Sorensen (LaVerne), both of Blair, A sons, Harvey, died eight years ago and a daughter, Fernm, died at the age of 18 months.

Other survivors include a brother, Ear M. Nelson of Valley City, N. D.; and 10 grand-children.
