Mary Bouska, daughter of Lorec and Ana Konop, was born October 11, 1886 at Holyoke, Colo., and died November 12, 1968 at the Homestead Rest Home in Washington, Kansas.
She came to Kansas with her family when a small girl. She attended rural schools in Republic county. She was married to Joseph Bouska and to this union one daughter was born.
After the passing of her husband in 1953, she continued to reside on the farm near Haddam, Kan. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
Survivors are: her daughter, Arlene; grandson Joe, whom she adopted and raised to manhood; one sister, Mrs. Nettie Baxa of Herrick, S.D.; three brothers, John of Butte, Neb., Edd and Charles of Iona, S.D.
Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in Narka with the Rev. Frederic Mansfield officiating. Interment was in National cemetery south of Narka, Kansas.
