Charles "Don" Barth, 62, Longboat Key, died March 2, 1994. He was born Aug. 28, 1931 in Sarasota and was a longtime resident of Longboat Key. He was an Army veteran, a former pressman for the Herald-Tribune, and a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife Phyllis' two daughters, Cindy Hastings of Sarasota and Cheryl Mileski of Bradenton; a son, Donnie of Longboat Key; three brothers, Richard A.
and Dewey, both of Sarasota, and David of Clovis, N.M.' and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Cortez Road chapel. A rosary service will accompany visitation at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. A mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic church.
Burial will be in Mansion Memorial Park.
