LaDonne Adele Korzenewski, 89 of Junction City passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at her home.LaDonne was born December 4, 1923 in Centralia, daughter of Orville McCoy and Anna (Busse) McCoy. She married Tony "Big Tony" Korzenewski on December 3, 1949 and he preceded her in death on January 12, 2004.
LaDonne is survived by two sons: Jerry Korzenewski and wife Betty of Sandoval and Tony "COB" Korzenewski and wife Lisa of Central City; three grandchildren: Steve Korzenewski and wife Jennifer of Junction City, Ashley Price and husband Travis of Mt. Vernon and Tiffany Byars and husband Dustin of Central City; three great-grandchildren: Kaiden Byars and Kylen Byars both of Central City, Logan Korzenewski of Junction City and she was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her great-granddaughter Alliana Price in June; two sisters: Dorothy Fogliasso of Centralia and Barbara Marek of Florida; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill McCoy and two sisters: Virginia Stover and Helen Delaney.LaDonne was a member of St. Lawrence Church in Sandoval. She worked at the Dress Factory and Candy Factory. She loved going to Church, gardening, watching birds, growing flowers, Sunday drives, cooking and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
