Mrs. Lillian Helton Bouterse, 80, of Ozark, died Friday, June 7, 2002, in Dale Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday June 10, 2002, from the Ozark First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Phil Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Visitation will be in the Church from 10 a.m. Monday until service time with the family receiving friends during this hour.

Mrs. Bouterse was a native of Henry County, having lived in many different places while her husband served in the United States Air Force, retiring to Dale County 25 years ago. She is predeceased by her husband, Edward G. Bouterse, three sisters, Iris Lane, Willie Gagrion, and Mary Sims, two brothers, Bob Helton, and Frank Helton.

Survivors include three daughters, Dean Luther Elba, Judy Beardslee, Orlando, Florida, and Donna Elizalde, Dothan, one son, Steve Bouterse, Echo, one brother, Leon Helton, Ozark, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, 980-D East Andrews Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
