Joseph S. Allender, 71 years old, died at 9 P. M. Thursday at the home of his son, Joseph P. Allender, 2810 Parkwood avenue, after an illness of two weeks.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth R. Allender; one daughter, Mrs. Charles W. Corrdry, of Snow Hill, Md.; three sons, C. Reay Allender, of Scranton, Pa.; James H. Allender, of Westminster, Md., and Joseph P. Allender, of this city.
