Bobbye Nelle Boyd, 77, of Huntsville died Friday, Feb. 7, 2003, at her home.

She was born Dec. 15, 1925, in Lincoln, the daughter of Norman and Monta Boomer Johnson.

She was retired from state government of California and was a member of Huntsville Chapter No.487, The Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Alexander Boyd, and a daughter, Bebe Linda Anderson.

Survivors include one sister, Malinda Galovich of Oakland, Calif.; an aunt, Imogene Dees of Huntsville; six grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Huntsville Cemetery with Reverend Doctor James P. Fleming officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
