Cecelia C. Porting, 92, Jefferson City, formerly of Rich Fountain, died Feb. 14, 2001 at St. Mary's Health center. She was born March 2, 1908, in Koeltztown, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Bock Albers. She was married Oct. 17, 1928, to Theodore Frederick Porting, who died Sept. 14, 1979.

She attended school in Koeltztown. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Jefferson City, Sacred Heart Church, Rich Fountain, Legion of Mary, St. Ann's Sodality, and the Immaculate Conception Prayer Line. She was a homemaker and worked in the cafeteria at Sacred Heart School.

Survivors include; one son, Harold Porting, Meta; two daughters, Mildred Burks and Linda Northway, both of Jefferson City; one sister, Louise Baumhoer, Jefferson City; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. One son, Frederick William Porting preceded her in death.

Services will be Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic church. Rev. Mark Porterfield will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Church cemetery, Rich Fountain. Morton Funeral Home will conduct the services at Sacred Heart Church."
