Services for Rose Ann Terry, 81, of 3650 South Federal Blvd., were held Monday at the Bear Valley Church of Christ. Burial was in Crown Hill.
Rose died November 25, 1976, in St. Anthony Hospital after a long illness. One of eleven children, she was born in Gallatin, Missouri, on March 28, 1895, to James and Lettie Miller.
She moved with her family to Western Nebraska in 1908, and on July 9, 1916 (in Elsie, NE), she was married to John E. Terry. They farmed near Elsie, Nebraska most of their married lives. In 1953 they moved to Denver, Colorado, where her husband was employed with the Colorado Parks and Outdoor Recreation Division until his retirement in 1965.
Rose was a member of the Bear Valley Church of Christ, and was a wonderful wife and mother for over sixty years.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, John, are two daughters, Vivian Sales, Las Animas, Colorado and Maxine Olson, Denver, Colorado; two sons, Everett, Hialeah, Florida, and Dennis, Redlands, California; two brothers, Ross and Loren Miller, Salem, Oregon; three sisters, Eva Terry, Denver, Colorado, Mildred Matchett, Utica, Minnesota, and Vernon Carothers, Elsie, Nebraska; fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
