Willis Melvin Adams

A Centralia resident for the past 5 years, Willis Melvin Adams, 92, died Monday at a Centralia nursing home.
He was born Dec. 17, 1880 in Mayking, Ky. He had been a farmer and a logger.
Survivors are 9 daughters, Mrs. George (Hattie) Krohn, Winlock; Mrs. Opal McChesney, Mrs. Dorothy Williamson, and Mrs. L.A. (Iva) Skillings, all of Centralia; Mrs. Ethel Roberts, Woodburn, Ore.; Mrs. Mildred Otterness, Federal Way; Mrs. L.K. (Wanda) Smith, Alderwood Manor; Mrs. Vernon (Alma) McCoy, Portland; and Mrs. Herman (Geraldine) Lamprecht, Napavine; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lorraine Adams, Chehalis; 33 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Fissell Chapel of the Brown Mortuary Service with the Rev. Wayne Ridout officiating. Interment will follow at the Napavine Cemetery.
