Tony was born and raised in Rosenhayn, NJ and was a longtime Vineland city resident. He was 1 of 9 children born to the late Elizabath Demore & Anthony J. Olivio Sr.
Tony was predeceased by his wife, Emily (Gardner) in 1997, grandson Joseph Patterson, as well as a sister Katherine Favretto and brothers, George, Joseph, Daniel and John Olivio Sr.
As a young man Tony went to work in the maintenance department of the Owens-Illinois Glass Co in Bridgeton. Tony had worked there for close to 50 years until the plant closed. He was a member of the Piney Hollow United Methodist Church. Tony was also a member of the Cumberland County Alzheimer's Support Group and the Vineland Moose Lodge. He loved all sports especially baseball and horse racing as well as working in his garden.
He is survived by his son, Anthony J. Olivio III and wife, Joanne, Millville; two daughters, Lois Ballurio and her husband, Barry, Landisville, Cathy Patterson and her husband, Joseph, Virginia; 8 grandchildren, Anthony (Jacqueline) J. Olivio IV, Richard T. Sr., Robert (Melissa) and Steven Olivio. Barry (Stephanie) Ballurio and Tammy (Justin) Gentilini, Dawn Patterson and Duke Patterson; 12 great-grandchildren, Anthony J. 5th, Amanda, Ashley Nicole, Richard T. Jr., Brandon, Amanda, Jimmy, Leeann, Barry III, Sophia Grace, Gianni and Jared; five great-great-grandchildren, Milana, Jayda, Paul Jr., Ivan and Audrey; brother, Bernard and wife, Josephine Olivio, Vineland; sisters, Mary and husband, Lou Capaldi, Port Norris, Rose Mary and husband Morris Gaburo, Bridgeton; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the PANCOAST FUNERAL HOME, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, NJ and again on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Piney Hollow United Methodist Church where his funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Church.
