Julia Anagnostis

Julia Anagnostis, 94 of Flagler Beach, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House.

Mrs. Anagnostis was born October 29, 1918 in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of Argiris and Vaseleke Anthony. Her husband, George V. Anagnostis, whom she married in 1939, died in 1998.

She is survived by two sons, Victor (Linda) Anagnostis and Aristides Anagnostis; two grandchildren, George (Cristin) Anagnostis and Toni (John) Lee; and one great-grand-daughter, Rebecca Lee.

Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Nick, James and Charles Anthony.

Family and friends will be received today from 4-6 PM at the Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South in Flagler Beach, where the Trisagion service will be held at 5:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, April 26, 2013 at 1:00 PM at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 129 N Halifax Ave. in Daytona Beach with Fr. Joseph Samaan officiating.
