Delbert Earl Abbott, 62, of Midwest City, died on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002. He was born to Earl C. & Hazel I. (Kester) Abbott, on March 31, 1940, in Indianapolis, IN. He came to Midwest City in 1975 previously living in Japan. He was a 32nd degree Mason and retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Tech SGT. He is survived by 3 daughters, Barbara Thornton of OKC, Lorraine Martin of Midwest City, and Debbie Rivera of Atlanta, GA; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and wife, Doris P. Abbott of Kissimmee, FL. Graveside service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, 8/15/ 2002, in the Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK, with burial to follow with military honors accorded.
