Graveside services for Wardell Guthrie, 66, Tyler, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday in Shady Grove Cemetery with Elder Freddie McLemore officiating under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co.
Mr. Guthrie died Sunday in a Tyler nursing home.
He was born March 25, 1929, in Tyler, and grew up in Shady Grove community. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include brothers, Johnie Rufus Guthrie and Bobby R. Guthrie, both of Tyler, Milton Guthrie, Los Angeles, Calif,; and sisters, Virginia Duncan, Tyler, Climmie Lee, Dallas, and Betty Langmade, New York.
