Gloria Mary was born May 27, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio, the 5th of 8 children of Pat and Mary Robey. She had brothers Julius, David & Elmer and sisters Jane, Lucille, Dorothy & Beatrice.
She attended Collinwood High School until 10th grade & did not graduate.
Gloria & Rasmus "Andy" Anderson were married by a Justice of the Peace on Dec. 8, 1945 in Cleveland. She was 18 and he was 20. They had two daughters listed above, both born in Bay Village. Both daughters are married but have no children.
Gloria worked at Reliance Electric, Blue Boar Restaurant and as a dog groomer in her home. She and Andy were members of the Collinwood Methodist Church until they moved to Willowick.
Gloria and Andy enjoy dog grooming, going to dog shows and boating. Gloria is 5' 2" tall with brown hair and eyes. As of 2005 they have been married 60 years and lived in Willowick.
She developed Alzeihiemers and Andy took care of her at home for five years. In 2008 he put her in Altercare Nursing Home in Mentor where she passed away on July 17, 2011 at age 85.
