OBIT: KENNETH LEE LOVETTE--KANSAS, Okla. - Kenneth Lee Lovette, 64-year-old lifetime resident of Kansas, died Sunday, January 20, 2002 at Quail Ridge Living Center in West Siloam Springs, Okla. Born September 10, 1937 in Pryor, Okla., he was the son of Monroe Lovette and Bessie Hoopengarner Lovette.
Kenneth was a peacetime Naval veteran and a retired lead guitarist. He had also worked at Gates Rubber Company in Siloam Springs, Ark., and farmed.
Kenneth was a member of the Colcord Church of Christ.
Survivors include: one son, Rick Lovette of Jay, Okla.; four brothers, Onnis Lovette of Downey, Calif., Chester Lovette of Muskogee, Okla., Herman Lovette of Florence, Kan., and Joe Lovette of Roseville, Calif.; four sisters, Marie Rogers of Kansas, Faye Rader of Tulsa, Okla., Elois Cooley of Sacramento, Calif., and Dolly Rapp of Tulsa; and many nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was preceded in death by one son, Randy.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, at the Colcord Church of Christ with Mr. Larry Ellis officiating.
