S. A. Allen, father of the Allen Bros., grocers, East Atchison, died suddenly, about 9 o'clock last night. He was hearty and cheerful during the day, and ate supper as usual. the cause of death is attributed to heart disease. The body will be taken to Muscotah, Sunday morning, where the deceased's wife lies buried, and where two daughters reside, and where deceased lived before moving to East Atchison.
Note: East Atchison is just across the river at Winthrop Missouri.
