Mrs. Thenasa M. Shaver, 68, widow of Lewis Shaver, died suddenly at 8:30 o'clock last night at her home in Cowan. She was born in Henry County, the daughter of the late George and Martha Hartley. Mrs. Shaver was a former resident of Harrison Township and was a member of the Antioch Church of the Brethren.

Surviving are one son, Wilbur S. Shaver of Elwood; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Lecington of Cowan; and one granddaughter, Miss Melta May Lamb of Jonesboro. The body was removed to the Meeks Mortuary.
