Howard Wayne Allen, 67, of West Point, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at Memorial Hospital in Carthage.
He was born Aug. 1, 1937, in Harmony Township, Hancock County, a son of Stephen A. and Lora Belle Williams Allen.
He is survived by one sister, Shirley (William) Miller of Loraine; two brothers, Francis (Bonnie) Allen of West Point and Larry Allen of Quincy; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marjorie Franklin.
He went to West Point Grade School and graduated from the eighth grade. He was a member of the West Point Christian Church.
Funeral services were held Feb. 1, in the Lamporte Funeral Home in Carthage. Pastor Terry Rankin officiated. Burial was in the West Point Cemetery.
Memorials in the name of Howard Allen have been established for the West Point Christian Church.
