Daughter of Angus DeLloyd and Fairalee Adams Irey. She married Wendall Harold Wilson in Colchester on 1 June 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband on 26 September 1987, as well as by her parents, seven brothers, and one sister. She was survived by two daughters, three sons, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one stepgranchild, and one sister.

Mrs. Wilson taught school for 15 years. She and her husband owned Wilson's Hatchery and Wilson's Orchard in and near Blandinsville. She was a graduate of Western Illinois University, where she received her teaching certificate. She lived in Blandinsville all of her adult life until moving to the Jefferson House in Macomb. She was a member of Blandinsville Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for many years. She was an avid quilter.
