Evelyn gained her heavenly home on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the age of 91. Evelyn was born October 21, 1921 during the depression in a tent in Fullerton, California to Wallace and Minnie Davis. In May of 1941 she was married to JW Veach and together they had 4 children.
Evelyn lived in the Los Angeles area for the first 41 years of her life and in June of 1962 she and her family moved to the Yamhill county area. Evelyn was employed by the Masonic Home in Forest Grove for a number of years.
Evelyn loved her family and had a strong faith in God and a strong spirit of adventure. She enjoyed meeting and knowing people, traveling, cooking, and experiencing life. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, 3 husbands, JW Veach, Elmer Gibson and Kenneth Smith, two sons, Don and Dale Veach, and 3 grandchildren, Donnie and Darren Veach and Jackie Baldridge. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Paula Baggett of Pearland, TX, her son Dennis J. Veach of Crowley, TX and his wife Ann and her daughter in law Jeanette Veach Salas. She also leaves 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
