In memory of Margaret, consort (wife) of Jesse Edwards who died Jan. 17, 1842.
Aged: 45 yrs 7 mos 15 ds∼Margaret (she was known by her middle name) was the second wife of Jesse (Jessie) Edwards; the seventh child born to William Edwards and his second wife, Mary Cramer. Margaret and Jesse were married in 1786 in Adams County, Ohio. They had at least two sons, Jesse, Jr. and John. Margaret died on the farm of step-grandson in-law, Isme Freeman (husband of Susannah Oppy).
