Terry was born August 20, 1945, in Alma, Michigan, the son of Irene and Henry Gould. He was a graduate of Alma High School. Sgt. Gould proudly served his country for 22 years, including 6 years of active duty in the Army, where he was stationed in Munich, Germany with the 7th Stock Control Center and the remainder with the Michigan National Guard. Terry was retired from Lansing Fisher Body Division. He was a member of the VFW Post 7302 in Hemlock and the American Legion in Breckenridge.
Mr. Gould was preceded in death by his wife Eulalia in 1993. He is survived by his brother, Richard L. Gould of Standish; and sisters Donna (Richard) Riley of Mayville and Sally Blundo of Waterford. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Eligio "Lee" Trevino, Ernesto Trevino, Gilbert Trevino, and Homero Trevino; and his sisters-in-law Alisia Trevino, Juana Diaz, Rose Takaki, Maria Gatica, and Bitris Figueroa. Terry will be greatly missed by his family and many faithful and valued friends.
Mr. Gould requested no traditional funeral service but family and friends are invited to say farewell at the Dewey Funeral Home on Thursday, June 2, 2011. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor George Showers will officiate. A private cremation has taken place and his ashes will be interred at Chapel Garden Cemetery.
