Well Known Resident of Elko Succumbs To
Infirmities: Served In Civil War
Funeral services will be held Wed. afternoon at Lagro for Andrew Ditton, an old resident of Elko, who died Sunday night, following an illness of several months from infirmities,
being 82 years old at the time of his death. Rev. Lacy and Rev. Peters of Lagro will have charge at the funeral service and burial will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery at that place.
The deceased was born in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, February 3, 1839, but has lived near Lagro, Hopwell and Elko nearly all his life He served with the Union Army through out the Civil War.
