Pioneer Lima Resident Is Summoned While in Minneapolis
Mrs. Annie Barrow Faurot, 83, pioneer Lima resident, died Tuesday at the home of her son, Frank Faurot, in Minneapolis, according to word received here by her son, Lee Faurot, 219 S. Cole-st. She had been ill only a few days.
Mrs. Faurot was born in Hull, Yorkshire, England, Oct. 4, 1842, and moved to Lima with her parents 62 years ago. She was married to George Faurot, Jan. 1, 1867, and for many years resided at the family home on the site now occupied by the Y.M.C.A. Her husband preceded her in death Nov. 16, 1924.
Surviving are four children, Mrs. C. B. Churchill, Bellefontaine; George, Seattle, Wash.; Frank, Minneapolis, and Lee, Lima. Seven grandchildren also are left.
The body will be accompanied to Lima Thursday and be removed to her late residence at 430 S. Jameson-av. Funeral services will be conducted there at 2 p.m. Friday in charge of Rev. E. S. Weaver, pastor of Trinity M. E. church. Interment will be made in Woodlawn cemetery.
