A gifted teacher who influenced the lives of many students and their families, she ministered for over 40 years in the Catholic elementary and secondary schools in Northern and Southern California in Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Alhambra, Oakland, and Pasadena. For over 20 years Sister was a devoted assistant to administrators in her province.
She is survived by her sisters and brothers; Cecilia, Walter, Pauline, John, Betty, Lawrence, Martin, and the Rev. Ralph Berg, C.M.F., and her many nieces and nephews including Rev. Blaise Berg of the Diocese of Sacramento. Her Sisters and Associates of the Holy Names, and her numerous friends also grieve at her death.
A Mass of Resurrection was celebrated on Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at the Convent of the Holy Names, in Los Gatos. Burial on Thursday, May 12, 2005, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward, CA.
