Allan was born January 7, 1941 in New Boston, Michigan. He was a son of the late Arleen (Gumtow) & Andrew Debozy. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Terry, nephew Jeffrey and brother-in-law Dan.

Surviving are his brother Alvin "Chuck" (Margaret) Debozy, two sisters, Sandy Heath and Andrea "Jean" (Harold) Owens, sister-in-law Marty Debozy and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Allan was a barber for 50 years and always quick with a joke or story. He enjoyed woodworking, creating games, writing children's books and playing cards with close friends. Allan was an avid bowler and loved to spend time up north at his cabin.

Allan was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Boston. Allan was a former Sunday School teacher and later Sunday School Superintendent. He also served as an usher for 60 years, from the time of his confirmation until his passing.

Allan was called Home to Glory on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from his home, where he was with his family.

Funeral Services were held at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 11:00 am. with the Rev. D. Lee Cullen, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Huron Township, Michigan.
