Confederate Soldier Served as Private in Company K of the 24th North Carolina Infantry. Captured in Sailor's Creek Virgina and held as a prisoner of war at Fort McHenry in Baltimore,MD . Dying as a result of injuries one month after his capture . he was originally buried at the Fort's Soldier's grave but was subsequently moved to Loudon National Cemetery.
