Ludwick Lane "Lud" Sisson, age 32, of Brunswick died Saturday, May 7, 2005, at the Southeast Georgia Health System.
Born in Metter, Ga., he had made his home in Brunswick for the past 26 years. He was a graduate of Calhoun County High School and had attended Coastal Georgia Community College and the University of Georgia, where he majored in music. Mr. Sisson was employed with the Golden Isles School of Music where he taught guitar. He was a member of St. Simons Community Church. Lud was a fabulous father and an excellent guitar player.
Survivors are his wife, Rachel Sisson of Brunswick; two daughters, Kelly Elizabeth Sisson and Leighla Nicole Sisson, both of Brunswick; his mother and stepfather, Wanda and Stanley Kelly Smith of Brunswick; his father and stepmother, Jim and Margaret Sisson of Cuthbert, Ga.; two sisters, Kerri Bonniwell of Knoxville, Tenn., and Molly Sisson of Cuthbert; paternal grandparents, Barney and Eloise Sisson of Cobbtown, Ga.; maternal grandmother, Bernice Lane of Portal, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date by Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
