Nellie Irene Bammes, 84, Derby, died Wednedsay, March 6, 2002.
She was a retired certified nurse's aid for Haysville Nursing Home.
Survivors include four sons: Richard and wife, Carolyn, Wichita; Jerry, Derby; William and Jancie Charleen, Derby; and Steve and Betty, Derby. Three sisters, Edith Johnson, Hutchinson; Blanche Loberg, Manhattan and Katherine Henton, Wagner, Oklahoma. 12 grandchildren, 19 gr-grandchildren and 13 gr-gr-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Resthaven Mortuary Chapel, Wichita.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
Nellie is my mother's 1st cousin. She is the daughter of Ellis and Lenora (Kipp) Davies. She married Ivan Jesse Bammes, he preceded in death.
