Theresia Street Woman Died At Her Home On Friday

Requiem mass for Mrs. Lawson Renwick of 1013 Theresia Street, will be celebrated at 10 o'clock Monday morning in Sacred Heart Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mrs. Renwick, 75, the former Julia Bucheit, passed away yesterday before noon at her home. Her death was unexpected. She had been around as usual and had attended the Fashion Show here Thursday evening.

The deceased was born in St. Marys on February 12, 1889 daughter of the late Frank X. and Mary Goetz Bucheit. She spent her entire life here.

Mrs. Renwick is survived by two daughters and three sons. They are:

Mary, Mrs. Robert Anderson; Louise, Mrs. James Samick, Thomas, Walter and William Renwick, all of St. Marys. Also surviving is a niece, Leona, Mrs. Clarence Lowe of St. Marys, whom she raised.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mary Meyer and Mrs. Joseph Cotter of St. Marys; and two brothers, Carl Bucheit of St. Marys and William of Coudersport.

Other survivors include 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Renwick was preceded in death by her husband, who passed away here on October 14, 1948. They had been married in Sacred Heart Church in 1909.

Also preceding her in death were two brothers and four sisters: Frank X. and Joseph C. Bucheit, both of St. Marys; Mrs. Gertrude Walker of Kane; Mrs. Hilda Wortman of Buffalo; Mrs. Rose Distler and Mrs. Helena Distler, both of St. Marys.

Friends are being received today and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the John J. Lynch Funeral Home on North Michael Street.
